Doug holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota and has been designing projects for over 15 years. His passion for designing homes comes from the idea that each and every home is a unique challenge. Each homeowner has an individual set of wants and needs to be interpreted and fused into a home design, and that design should serve to make life easier and more enjoyable for the homeowner’s.

After college, Scott moved to the Twin Cites area and started in the construction trades as an apprentice carpenter. After learning the trade for 2 years, he started his own framing company and spent the next 15 years building it up. During that time, he developed knowledge and respect for the necessity of quality from the first time you step onto an empty lot and locate the home to the final touches. Each part of the home relates to another, so they must all be done correctly. Scott is the one that you will see out on the site coordinating the construction of your home, making the plans that Doug puts together for you into reality.
